Crimson’s Creative Challenge #42

Crimson’s Creative Challenge #42

Tobacco Road was lonely and long, winding it’s way through the North Carolina country side, with nothing much to see but fields and fields of green. I was along for the ride that hot day in July, and my Uncle Jack kept looking over at me asking, “Are you bored yet?” “No sir,” I replied, “But I could use a cigarette.” We laughed at the old joke as he made his way toward the facility I was to tour later in Stantonsburg, NC. I was doing my college thesis on the global epidemic of tobacco use by teenagers in the US. and wanted to tour this facility so I could present with all the facts. Uncle Jack looked over at me as we pulled in and said, “I’m proud of you kiddo. You will make a difference in this world someday.” “That’s my aim, sir.” I answered.

  1. I like where you’ve taken this.
It amazes me the many directions taken over the weeks from the photo prompts I’ve supplied. In itself, it makes running the prompt worthwhile. I thank you for contributing. 🙂
